Can I crash at your place?
Foster with A Stone’s throw dog rescue
Fosters are an important role in rescue, and we couldn't do it without our fosters homes.
As a volunteer and foster run rescue without a facility, fosters are a dire need in our organization but also we have a limited access to. Fosters prepare our adoptable pets for life in an home environment by providing love, routine, care, basics of crate training , and a safe place to sleep and showcase their personalities.

Foster information
-
Vet care
ASTDR covers all vet care while your foster is in your home. All we ask is that you are able to get them to their appointments if needed while in your home
-
Supplies
Fosters do not have to fund basic supplies for their foster pets! ASTDR will get you set up with everything you need, food, crate, litter box, and treats
-
Foster community
We have a foster/volunteer facebook group where all our fosters can stay in touch, post pictures of their foster pets, or ask questions. This is also where we call out for foster opportunities and post pets that need a foster home.
