Volunteer

We could not save the amount of animals from local and texas shelters, a month that we do without our volunteer staff.

There are many ways you can help

  • This volunteer opportunity can be done remotely! It involves calling vet references, applicants personal references, confirming homeownership, overlooking home check photos, and sending applicant onto the next step .

*this involves a virtual orientation and training

  • Our adoption coordinators interview applicants and decide on placement of our available animals. For this role we are looking for dog savvy people, with previous rescue experience.

    *Remote volunteer, involves virtual training

  • For this role you would be updating pet profiles in our database with medical records. Uploading proof of alter/6 month heartworm testing from our adopters, and scheduling alters.

    *Remote volunteer

  • Drive foster pets to their medical appointments, drop off foster supplies, help with transport arrival, and more

  • Help us grow our social media presence!

  • If you are a certified trainer that is willing to donate their time to help with our behavioral cases or can offer virtual training/help to our adopters we could always use the help in making our dogs more adoptable, or helping our alumni’s address issues in their home.

  • We can always use dog crates, clean/unused litter boxes, collars, leashes, unused dog toys, chews, dog bowls (slow feeders), treats, unopen dog food, and cat litter

  • Don’t have a lot of time? we can always use help inputting applications into our spreadsheets, updating pet profiles, and more
